Zoey Dollaz Hurricane Harvey Rescue Project | @ZoeyDollaz |
Zoey Dollaz FreeBandz and Epic Records recording artist is taking action and jumping in feet first to assist Houston, TX with his ‘Hurricane Harvey Rescue’ project. Dollaz who is currently in the middle of touring alongside his label mate Future on the Worldwide Future Hndrxx Tour decided that action needed to be taken immediately for the city of Houston. Dollaz being from Miami, Florida decided to start his mission there by partnering with a local Finga Licking location, located at 17647 NW 27th Ave, Miami Gardens, FL to use them as a product drop off location. His ‘Hurricane Harvey Rescue’ project is calling for the city to come out and donate non-perishable food items, water, clothing, shoes, baby food, diapers, batteries, sleeping bags, etc. These items will be then be sent down to Houston and disbursed throughout the community.
Dollaz took his efforts a step further and is currently in Houston joining the rescue relief. He gathered jet skis and boats and is assisting on the ground to those families who can only be rescued by boat due to the high water. Dollaz is providing the victims with life vest and blankets upon rescue to ensure their safety. This notable act of service caught the attention of the nationally syndicated Good Morning America and landed him a name mention on their Houston segment on, Thursday, August 31, 2017.
The mission has not stopped there. Zoey Dollaz in partnership with LRG Clothing and Image PR Boutique are donating $250 thousand dollars’ worth of clothing to the Houston residents affected by Hurricane Harvey. The distribution of these items will be taking place on Saturday, September 9, 2017, and the location will be announced next week.
