Layla Hendryx burst onto the scene in 2015 with her EP release “Channel 6”and immediately established her self as an artist to watch. Her genre blending sound infusing elements of hip hop, R&B and trap caught the attention of fans and critics alike. Her single “B.T.W” was featured on episode 4 of OVO Sound Radio and quickly became a fan favorite off the project, while her music caught the attention of taste making publications such as; The Fader, Complex Music and Vice / Noisey among others.

Following up in 2016 with her EP "Out Of Time", Layla built on the sounds of "Channel 6" with a heavier R&B influence. After a short break from releasing music Layla is back with a brand new single and a new EP release around the corner. Teaming up with producer JMak Beatz, who produced all of "Channel 6", Layla is gearing up to release her latest EP project titled "Pree Paid". The entire project is produced by JMak, and represents a return to her core aggressive sound.

The new single "Livin It Up" features buzzing Toronto artist Pressa and is produced by JMak. The first single off the new EP project is a statement that Layla is going to the top and not relying on anyone but herself to get there. "Livin' It Up" ft.
