P8tience Releases New Record "Blood" | @p8tience |

p8tienceWith his second song release of the year, Black Collar Music Group artist P8tience heavily exposes the numerous killings of unarmed black men in America by police, and the disconnect between white law enforcement and the urban community in his new release “Blood”. The Beats In My Backpack produced record sends out a classic west coast vibe, with heavy key bass, guitar bass, snare, hi-hat, distinctive percussion and a gritty chorus with a reggae vibe that sends one hell of a message, courtesy of featured artist King Mellowman. P8tience begins the record narrating about himself being killed by police, and how they find the worst of him through photos and other things to paint a negative picture of him and who he was.

He also speaks on the 2015 death of Freddie Gray and the killings of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile, whom were both killed back to back on July 5th and 6th of 2016. To end the record, the listener is educated of what happens in the heat of these moments as the police. The record ends by posing the question, "If you were him what would you do". This speaking of being in the shoes of the police. Of the record, P8tience states "Let's be clear, this isn't a record to bash police as a whole, but it is a record of truth, facts, awareness and to expose those with blood on their badge".
