Clyde Kelly - LRx (EP) | @whoisclydekelly |

Over the last year, CLYDE KELLY has made huge strides in his career - most notably with his Kountdown (Lil Wayne, Bryson Tiller) produced “Magic,” which has racked up over 700,000 plays on Spotify as well as commercial radio play in the US and Canada. His debut album Not Rich Yet included notable features from Michael Christmas and Rome Fortune, as well as production from Toronto based producer D.R.O (Felly’s “Desert Eagle”.) Following the release, he was profiled in The Daily Pennsylvanian.

With his sophomore EP LRx, CK delivers melodic raps over bouncy, electronic production. The five-song project includes one SoundCloud-only bonus track, one guest feature from singer Emily Marie, and no explicit lyrics. LRx debuted at #39 on the iTunes R&B/Soul charts. Here's what Clyde had to say about the project:

“Love is medicine. It's how we heal ourselves from self-doubt, scarcity, loneliness. Love is fleeting. It floods our hearts for a moment and makes us feel alive in an existence otherwise narrated by a hyper-rational and emotionally barren consciousness. Trying to bottle love would be like trying to bottle clouds. The best I could do is prescribe more love with songs to remind you what love – and the lack thereof – feels like. Welcome to The Love Prescription.”
