Fox News is on a ROLL this year in knocking out commentators and journalists for all sorts of wrong doings. Next up to bat is Bob Beckel. “Bob Beckel was terminated today for making an insensitive remark to an African-American employee,” the network said in a statement. He had previously been a commentator on the Fox News Channel, where he co-hosted The Five until he was released in 2015 after being absent for several months while recovering from back surgery. After departing Fox News in 2015, Beckel became a commentator for CNN. On January 16, 2017, he returned to Fox News as a co-host of The Five. Today, Fox News announced Beckel was terminated as a result of making a racist remark against another Fox News employee.
In a statement, Douglas Wigdor (His Attorney) alleged Bob Beckel “stormed out of his office” when an African-American information-technology employee came to service his computer, “telling our client that he was leaving his office because he was black.”
Sources are stating that Fox News’ human-resources department was made aware of a complaint Tuesday evening and an internal investigation was conducted. Bob Beckel was reportedly let go Friday morning.
