J Nez ft Safaree - Man a Balla

 



In recent years, Atlanta, GA has become the premiere city in the US to unearth international superstar talent. Whether it be the hottest rapper, songwriter or producer, Atlanta is where it’s at. So, it is no wonder that you could find J Nez in Atlanta.  Quickly emerging as the city’s newest hitmakers. Always vibrant and unique, J Nez produce songs with a distinctive universal sound that incorporates modern American Southern swagg, mixed with traditional Caribbean nuances.





J Nez was born Jasen Andre Campbell in Grand Cayman to Sandra Campbell and Michael Francis. J Nez grew up with music in his blood. J Nez said that his grandmother Rachel Edmondson, took him to church religiously every Sunday where he became a lover of the drums and was given the name “drummer boy” because of his skillful playing at the age of seven.


Cash Money Millionaires inspired him to chase after his dreams to become an artist. He wrote his first line to a beat called “Be Eazy” when he joined local rap group C.B.R/Da Link Set (D.L.S) where he also gain the name J Nez .


J Nez is influenced by an amalgam of music genres, including Dancehall, Pop, EDM, and Hip Hop. These musical influences help him create his unique and distinct sound. In just a short period of time, he attracted an impressive following of fans on social media purely via the notion that a modern day Sean Paul is taking over the music scene.


J Nez has released singles such as ”Man a Balla” featuring Safaree, "Uh Huh" featuring Shanell (Young Money), “What I’m On” featuring Young Dro & Jason Caesar, “All Bad” featuring Verse Simmonds, "Work" (Rihanna featuring Drake Remix), “Hold you” and have worked with super producer Major Seven also the legendary Ken Lewis. Has his solo career progress he has done opening act with Percy Sledge, Ginuwine, Verse Simmonds, OMI, Bunji Garlin, Mike Epps, Aidonia, Young Joc and SamanthaJ.


He is ready to make his mark. They are here to make a statement and change the climate of popular music. In 2017, it’s time for the music industry to become ready for J Nez "How Ya Mean"!
