Nate Millyunz is the "King of the North": A grizzled veteran, fueled by the viral success of his Vikings inspired anthem, fresh off opening for a bevy of your favorite rappers, and most recently headlining a tour of his own across the Midwest.). On his latest album, Waves 2 (released 3/21), Millyunz opts for eclecticism and flexes his array of influences as a vocalist while addressing a wide range of topics with both braun and vulnerability. Plenty of rappers make an attempt at "singing", but it doesn't sound contrived with Nate; one can sense how dope a live incarnation of this collection of tracks would sound from the seasoned Minneapolis performer. Plus, Nate can really rap (still).
