On the heels of the release of arguably his best album to date, Hood Country Club, New Zealand's hip hop giant David Dallas shares the official music video for the project's lead single, "Fit In."
Recorded at Red Bull Studios, Hood Country Club is the highly-anticipated fourth full-length studio album from David Dallas; a carefully crafted and expertly executed follow-up to his critically acclaimed and award-winning 2013 LP Falling Into Place. Dallas doesn’t side step as he touches on everything, from the political to the deeply personal. The NZ Herald says of the record, “No word is spared, no line is wasted, and everything lands on or near its intended target”. Dallas himself sees it as his best lyrical effort, with the final result both polished and poignant. The album features production from heavy hitters Styalz Fuego, Nic M, SmokeyGotBeatz and longtime collaborators Fire & Ice, and pulls from sonic influences as broad as UK two-step and Trip-hop, to dusty samples over classic boom-bap drums.
