Cellis is a hip hop recording artist and songwriter that hails from Baltimore, MD. His passion for music started at a young age when he began writing poetry to his favorite rap songs, but his style and idiosyncrasies vary across all genres. In his own music, he dives deep lyrically in socially aware songs like “Inner Child” and “Snow Day” and methodically weaves hooks in more catchy and upbeat songs like “Trust” and “Day With The Homies”. His storytelling and witty puns have become a staple in his music and caught the eyes and ears of industry vets. In the past, Cellis has performed at major festivals such as SXSW, A3C, and Canadian Music Week. He has also opened for national touring artists, such as Bj The Chicago Kid, Dom Kennedy and Yellow Man.
