British alt-pop trio STITCH have revealed their debut track ‘Fool’. The song is taken from the band’s debut EP which will be released early in 2018.
‘Fool’ is a perfect introduction to the band, all of whom are multi-instrumentalists and write, perform and self-produce their music. The song, an epic synth-pop power ballad, tackles the uncertainty at the start of a relationship.
The band say: “Fool raises the question of naivety in new relationships. Are we ready to fall in love with someone new, when we know the pain and heartache love can bring?”
STITCH are Nikita, Gray and Kye; three friends who originally met at university. Their music fuses intricate vocal harmonies with lush, emotive textures and infectious rhythm, all written and produced from their West London living room.
The band blends a unique and organic, raw musical sensibility with modern electronic elements. As well as recording their debut EP, they have also already successfully transferred this sound from the studio to the stage, and have performed to packed crowds in the UK, including the main stage in Trafalgar Square for London Pride.
STITCH will release their debut EP early in 2018. More new music will be revealed soon.
