Danny Fernandez is Def3, a well-established hip-hop artist based out of Regina, Saskatchewan, whose unique journey has helped pen an engaging narrative, and curate an eclectic sound. Spending the better part of his youth travelling the world via hospital ship, shaped Def3’s productive outlook and wealth of creativity.

His 2014 album WILDLIF3, produced by Saskatoon powerhouse Factor, procured him the “Rap Recording of the Year” award at the Western Canadian Music Awards, graced the top of the iTunes Canadian Hip Hop charts in overall bestselling album, and dominated both Canadian and US college radio charts (Earshot Magazine, CMJ).

Def3 returns to the limelight with his highly anticipated follow up record, “Small World”, set for release on Friday, August 4th via URBNET. In addition to being produced by Late Night Radio, one of Colorado’s most prolific electronic producers, known for his innovative and funky cuts, Small World features a few more friends of hip hop, such as Masta Ace, Del the Funky Homosapien, Mystic, and Skratch Bastidto name a few. Small World will be available via digital, cassette, CD, and vinyl LP.
